Angel Flight East

Provide free air transportation to qualified patients and their families by arranging flights to distant medical facilities, delivering supplies to disaster areas, and reuniting families during desperate times. Provides transportation in the Northeastern region of the United States for distances up to 1,000 miles. The minimum distance AFE travels is 100 miles.

Bert's Big Adventure

Bert’s Big Adventure is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. To qualify for Bert’s Big Adventure, children must be between the ages of 5 and 12, live in the Huntington, West Virginia, prove financial need and have never been to Walt Disney World®.

Bureau of Behavioral Health

The unit of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities provides leadership, facilitation, technical assistance and funding to support children and adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Casey Cares Foundation

Provides uplifting programs with a special touch for critically ill children and their families in eight states and D.C. Helps children being treated for cancer, brain tumors, blood disorders, lymphoma , sarcoma, and cystic fibrosis.

Mercy Medical Angels

Provide assistance with transportation to receive medical services in the air with commercial airline tickets and volunteer pilots, and on the ground with gas cards, bus and train tickets.

Variety--the Children's Charity

Variety’s equipment programs; My Bike, My Stroller & My Voice; provide children with disabilities unique programs, experiences, and equipment, so they may live life to the fullest and not be left out, left behind, or excluded. Serves eligible children with disabilities in 12 West Virginia counties(i.e. Barbour, Brooke, Doddridge, Hancock, Harrison, Marion, Marshall, Monongahela, Ohio, Preston, Taylor, and Wetzel).
