Angel Flight East

Provide free air transportation to qualified patients and their families by arranging flights to distant medical facilities, delivering supplies to disaster areas, and reuniting families during desperate times. Provides transportation in the Northeastern region of the United States for distances up to 1,000 miles. The minimum distance AFE travels is 100 miles.

ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation

Dedicated to helping families socially, psychologically, academically, financially, and spiritually whose children are being treated for cancer in Central Virginia.

Autism Society's Intervention Assistance Fund

Serving the counties of counties of Arlington, Clarke, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Warren, and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Manassas and Manassas Park. Applications are collected and reviewed semi-annually. Grants are made as reimbursements for a percentage of requested funds, with application caps of up to $1,000 per individual per cycle. Semi-annual Deadlines: January 1 and July 1 every year.

Butterfly Blessings

Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters utilizes as a short-term resource to help families with expenses related to transportation (including gas, tolls, cab fare), meals, medications, baby formula, household utilities and more.

Casey Cares Foundation

Provides uplifting programs with a special touch for critically ill children and their families in eight states and D.C. Helps children being treated for cancer, brain tumors, blood disorders, lymphoma , sarcoma, and cystic fibrosis.

Marty Lyons Foundation

Applications will be accepted for “special wishes” only for children chronologically aged three (3) through seventeen (17) years old.

Mercy Medical Angels

Provide assistance with transportation to receive medical services in the air with commercial airline tickets and volunteer pilots, and on the ground with gas cards, bus and train tickets.

Patient Airlift Services

Arranges volunteer medical flights in the greater Northeast region as far west as Ohio and as far south as Virginia.

Servants At Work

(SAWs), is a non-profit, all volunteer ministry aimed at providing the handicapped, the elderly and the infirmed individuals with access to their world and allow them to remain in their homes.

Virginia Department of Social Services.

Offers many forms of assistance, such as child care, energy, food and medical.

Zach Speaks Inc.

Provides 3 consecutive months of Speech and Occupation Therapy for individuals diagnosed with autism between the ages of 3 and 18.
