Angel Flight

Angel Flight Soars arranges free air transportation for people who need to travel to receive life saving medical treatment, but lack the means.

Bert's Big Adventure www.bertsbigadventure.org Helps children ages 5 to 12 years old and have been diagnosed with a chronic or terminal illness, or is physically challenged. Without the help of Bert’s Big Adventure, the family does not have the financial means available to afford a trip to Walt Disney World. Must live in the Nashville area.

Dream Factory Inc.

Largest all-volunteer driven children’s wish-granting organization that does not limit its mission to children who have life-threatening illness. The organization believes children with chronic illnesses and disorders also suffer from substantial emotional and physical pain. East Tennessee Foundation www.easttennesseefoundation.org East Tennessee Foundation offers scholarship, grant and loan opportunities to students and nonprofit organizations throughout our 25-county service area.

HopeKids

The most predominant conditions that qualify for HopeKids include, but are not limited to, cancer, heart defects, Cystic Fibrosis, organ transplants, Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and Sickle Cell Anemia. Children with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy and Spina Bifida may qualify if their treating physician deems that their specific medical situation (i.e. coupled with other complications) is considered life-threatening.

LifeLine Equipment Exchange

Often families and even companies, churches, schools, and organizations find themselves with an abundance of durable medical, therapy, or other items for which they no longer have a use. We love being able to pass on items that will benefit other families who may have limited or no insurance coverage or financial access to things they need. Items are available in Chattanooga County primarily.

Lifeline Pilots

FREE transportation for such medical needs as on-going medical treatments, diagnosis and follow-up care.

Mark's Money

Provides financial assistance to persons with Down syndrome to improve their quality of life by meeting their daily living, employment, medical, residential, or social needs.

Mending Limbs

Provide financial help for amputee that needs assistance with prosthetic cost that do not have insurance, no government assisted funding or supplemental assistance.

Mercy Medical Angels

Provide assistance with transportation to receive medical services in the air with commercial airline tickets and volunteer pilots, and on the ground with gas cards, bus and train tickets.

Sports 4 All Foundation www.s4af.org Equipment Endowment Program provides sporting equipment, gear and clothing to individuals with disabilities and organizations serving people with disabilities who are competing in an organized sporting event or sports related activity.

Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities

The Scholarship Fund assists Tennesseans with disabilities and their families, especially individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, to attend leadership coalition meetings, disability conferences, and disability trainings held in Tennessee and across the U.S. Tennessee Technology Access Center www.tacnashville.org Promote the independence and participation of individuals of all ages with disabilities in school, work, play and everyday activities through their use of assistive technology. United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee www.ucpmidtn.org United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee administers several different funds that are non-disability specific, and are available to people with disabilities throughout the state of Tennessee.
